The colors were chosen to represent the couples favorite colors. Hers: teal. His: green. The center print is a combination of all of the colors. I use it to represent the couple - with 2 lives now becoming 1 entertwined with parts of each other.
I have a 2nd one that I will be starting next week. My nephew's wedding is the 30th. Their colors are - Him: black & grey. Her: blue & green. Theirs is definitely going to "pop" a lot more that my cousin's. She likes muted, mellow...so hers turned out perfect.

I can't FMQ at all!! I think that's why I'm not sure what to do here. Do you think all straight stitching would be boring? I was thinking of making some chains in the largest outer strips of each block (those I can draw and just straight sew on them). I'm going to go stare some more and wait to see what you come up with LOL.
