I will convert mine to hold my rulers as well.

The things I learn here is awesome.
We have such gifted and practical quilters on this board.

Have a ruler holder and it certainly doesn't hold a lot, your is much more efficient.

What a great idea!

My son left a ceramic toothbrush holder he made and I now use it to hold my small rulers, pens, sissors and other odds and ends on the small table next to my sewing machine. It has an opening in which one could put a cup and the lip is flared outward with holes to hold toothbrushes - great place for my stilletto at the end of the day. It also has what looks like an attached coaster at the base which is a great place to keep spare bobbins.

Thanks for that idea! I have two of those racks and they re constantly getting knocked over. Time to lay them flat!LOL

Great idea, but mine hold all my embroidery thread or most of it, anyway. Must buy some more when I can get them 1/2 price.
