Wink Three year ol UFO finished....well kind of

Lori S posted a thread about the oldest projects and I did mention that I have one that I started three years ago and just put in a project bag and stuffed in one of the boxes and I promised myself to start pulling one every now and then to finish between my current ones and it looks like I am holding my promise...

This weekend I finished all the top with the applique and I got the backing ready, but will not be able to quilt until I finish quilting a much needed quilts now.
    Thanks for looking

Great colors on the friendship wreath. Nicely executed too.

OK That is gorgeous. Why a UFO for so long? My UFOs are either huge and I get tired of looking at them or those that are not as asthetically pleasing as I envisioned. Yours is a beauty!!!

Good question...for some mysterious reasons sometimes I get bored of some projects even when too small and when I was working on this one three years ago I had a lot going on in my life and it just got put back wayyyy too deep in the boxes as I felt the colors where too dark but now I loved finishing it.
Who said quilting doesn't affect your life or the other way round????lol
