wow, our thrift stores never have any useful quilting fabric. I sometimes think that it dissappears at the sorting facility. What thrift store did you find this at?

​I have found sewing scraps before but never fabric on a bolt. It was from the St. Vincent that rarely has sewing things.

I agree with all of this and I also backed embroidery so the tread won't show thru...What a lucky find!

I bought my bolt of muslin to do Cathedral Windows but haven't started yet

Lucky you! I agree with all the ideas mentioned. You can never have enough muslin.

cannot beat a good muslin and this one looks 5 star!!!!!Use it anyway you would use a printed cotton....it is the basis of all those printed fabrics!!!!!! I always use muslin on the backs of my quilted things.......as mentioned above on a bed quilt it looks like a whole cloth when reversed!!!!! Wish our thrift stores had such treasures!!!!!!

Yep! Generally 2 folds equals 1 yard on a normal bolt! You got a great deal!!!! Why don't I ever run into those deals?

We used to call it unbleached domestic. Made lots of curtains with it. I use it for quilt tops as well as backing.
