Default Time to Defrag Quilt

I had a jelly roll, matching charm pack and white yardage and made this fun little quilt. The point was to stretch myself and try to do something different. I made up all the printed blocks, then decided how big I wanted the quilt to be and made up enough white blocks the same way to have enough. Then I stitched 3 rows of printed blocks and two rows of white blocks. The rest I threw into a paper bag. I pulled them out one and a time and made rows. After all the rows were made, I put the color heavy rows on the bottom and the light white rows on the top. I call it "Time to Defrag". If you have ever defraged your computer you will see a similar pattern. But not near as colorful. And yes, that's me holding it up.

Very nice quilt. stretching yourself is a good thing, and look what it produced! Lovely.
