What a beautiful quilt. Love the wildlife in the border. When we listen to God's nudges we come out winners every time. Thanks for sharing your blessing.

That is so beautiful, I have a picture of our barn built in the 1800's I want to attempt to make a quilt our of. All I have left is the picture, the barn was burnt down in 2006

Your quilt is truly a work of art. Thanks for sharing the quilt and story.
Some folks think it is crazy to listen to "voices", actually it is crazy not to.

That is just fabulous!

When we used to live in So Cal and visited KY I took a lot of photos. One I remember vividly was a tobacco barn that I really did not see the Amish man in his wagon that was silhouetted (that's sp wrong but I've had a martini!) against the open doors of the barn. I noticed it in the print when we were home again.

And I still hang a b/w of the north Sonoma County (CA) coast and another of the Awhanee Hotel in Yosemite National Park.

But I could never imagine having the talent to turn them into quilts. That's awesome!

Wow this is good. How do you make it look like real wood?
