Your tree is cute as can be! I've had that pattern for two years now, haven't made it yet.

I have been so tempted to try the couching technique but I don't yet have the foot I need for it. Have you seen the video Bethanne Nemish posted on FB doing the koi fish? She has really taken couching to a whole 'nother level. Looks like so much fun to try. But I have too many other things in progress right now, I definitely want to finish up some projects before I try anything new. Love how your star turned out and the whole piece is just great. Did you couch the gold trim bit that is in the binding ditch as well? Really a nice touch to have that little bit of bling. Adds a lot.
