    Toes in the sand

This is a quilt I quilted for a local quilt shop sampler, they just wanted something simple with variegated thread, so I decided to do swirls. The pattern is called Toes in the Sand. Thanks for looking

Oooooh! Great colors, pattern and quilting!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

Very neat! I have seen the acrylic shape for rotary cutting in that diamond shape and that pattern is very eye catching. Your quilting just makes me want to run my hands over the quilt!

It is lovely and so is the quilting.

I think swirls are great, I had my last two quilts done in swirls but expanded the design to be larger. Thank you for the darling quilt and great shots of the quilting.

You took a simple design and added lovely texture and movement with your quilting. Nice job and great choice.

FYI - the pattern is actually called Lotus, the only reason I know is that I am working on it now. I love Jaybirds new Hex N More ruler - many things you can do with it.

Yep you are right, one of the employees told me it was her other pattern Toes in the Sand and I never double checked it. Thanks for the correction.
