too many scrapos, too little time!

And yet another scrappy. Will it ever end? An adaptation of Courthouse Steps. Started with a 6-1/2" 4-patch, added 2 rows of strips cut 1-1/2" wide, then a row of 2" and because my log and courthouse blocks never turn out perfectly, I cut the last row bigger and then trimmed to 12-1/2" The sashing pieces are 2-1/2' squares with 2-1/2" x 12-1/2" strips. Thanks for looking.
(Kind of busy isn't it? Didn't realize how busy until I saw the posted pix.)

never too busy, love the scrappy
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Nice! I'm also working on scraps and they do tend to be a little busy, but fun quilts.

"Busy" maybe but I think your arrangement makes it interesting - it's in balance and nothing REALLY overpowers anything else. I like it.

No, not busy! It is fun and colorful and whimsical. I can see the pattern of the block perfectly so it isn't too busy at all.
I would keep going on this till I got to 5 x 6 blocks. It is scraperfect IMHO.

Judy, just a thought, but it would be interesting to cut the squares you've already made on the diagonal. Then try different lay outs. To see how that would look (before committing to cutting) I would take paper & lay across a block on diagonal (on 4) then arrange those until I found something I liked.
I love scrappy too but the scraps are like bunnies!

This is beautiful. I have finished 2 scrap quilts and am working on a star quilt made with men's plaid shirts that I bought at Goodwill in Phoenix last month at a bargain price. The stars do not touch each other; it will be king-sized. make companion pillow cases to go with the quilts.

I just love the nutty scrappiness of it! May need something to bring it back down to earth but it is simply gorgeous!
