Why not make a whole cloth out of it and not cut the focus fabric at all? Just add borders from your coordinating fabrics, sandwich it and quilt as is. Your beautiful piece is preserved whole. Bonus, not cutting it up would certainly speed up the time and work in getting a finished quilt!!

Thanks you all so much for your suggestions. My husband was amazed that people would get excited about fabric
(I guess we have not been married long enough)I was originally thinking of a OBW like some of you suggested.
I have decided what I am going to do. Need to search for some coordinating fabric and will end up using 2 or 3 of the ideas to make it. I will post a picture when I'm done.

I had some Poinsettia fabric that was very similar so I made a "walk about" quilt. It has big solid squares that your fabric would be perfect for.
