It took me 45 minutes to make a 10 minute block!

Bright and subtle...the colors are perfect. Is this the three dimensional bow tie block? I made my first one at the quilt retreat I just came back from...KEPT THE SAMPLE!!! It was difficult to figure out, and several of the experienced gals flubbed up. GREAT JOB!

boy do i know what your talking about. First time I tried to make the star block I did everything backwards. I laughed at myself. Now Im making my sister a 3 pocket sissor holder and I made a embroidery palm tree with her name a long time ago and thought I could put that one on. Well I did sew it on and to my surprize It didnt desolve. I could of cryed. But I took out my sissors and sat down and cut and cut and cut it away. I bought some desolving stablelizer that should desolve with water, but half of the roll wasnt the desolving kind. They made a mistake, well I did take it back and they did give me a new one. but dang What a hassle. I should of checked first but no i thought it was on the right one.

Yes Bee that is the pattern I was thinking of..couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me *LOL* Geez this last birthday took it's toll on me..:-) guess I am officially old now and the mind has wandered away again...crafty_linda_B
