    Great job. It's beautiful, no matter what kind of 'fly' it is. I like the idea of the echo quilting, also.

    Who cares if it,s butterflies or dragonflies, they both look great. I like it (them) with the flowers. Looks great! Thanks for sharing. :) :thumbup:

    Start quilting by doing in the ditch on the sashings to stabilize quilt and each block. Also baste the outside edge of layers to avoid stretching as you machine quilt. Then outline each applique. At that point you will be able to tell if you need more quilting. The easiest is to do the echo quilting like a previous member said using your free motion foot as a guide as you go around each applique.

    I envision a small scallop Machine stitch abaout 3 or 4 along each of the sashings around each block and stitch around the dragon fly or flower about 1/4 inch .Each scallop would be 3 to 4 inches depending on the size of your block. If this is enough quilting for the type of batting you are using, I think this would be sufficient.

    It's gorgeous and I think they are butterflies ;) I send eveything out so have no suggestions on quilting.
