Wow.... :shock: :shock: I love it!!! You did a fantastic job with it, love the fab choices and the mitered border is just perfect for it! I just know your DIL will love that..if not...my addy is>>>>>>

Beautiful! I love the purple and green together. My wife is next on my list to make a quilt for and those are the main colors that hers will be. You have a lucky DIL!

Thanks, the mitered corners were actually much easier than I had thought. I just followed the instructions out of several of my quilt books (basically all the same concept) and they turned out ok. Well, on one corner the points aren't perfectly matched, but you don't notice much from far away!

Thanks for the kind words.

Actually, the original fabric was on sale at my LQS because I think it was kind of weird. Red and Purple flowers on various backgrounds, but I loved it.

When I brought it home, everyone kind of looked at me funny and asked me what I had planned for it. I really didn't have a clue. I just liked the fabric.

I originally wanted big pieces, not small blocks, so that the fabric would show up best.

I am going to have a problem making the smaller quilts show it as well.
