What a heart warming experience! I bet he loved every minute. Great job for a perfect "little girl's" gift. Thanks for sharing the finish line with us.

Your husband has wonderful taste in the ladies in his life. She is a doll and you can see how thrilled she is to get her present! You both deserve a round of applause!! Thanks for sharing the photos.

I am fairly sure that you are all correct...I think he enjoyed watching her excitement almost as much as she was excited to receive the tote and accessories. And, actually, I think he was proud of me too...he showed it off to the ladies he works with before he gave it making sure he told me how much they liked it, and he mentioned several times how "it really was a nice bag". (And he was really impressed when I told him I didn't have a pattern. It's nice to know I can still surprise him after 36 years.) LOL

Hi Susie! How's things in your neck of the woods? Our youngest is considering University of Chicago for continuing her PhD. Maybe we will get to meet again!!! Yippee!!

Don't you just love it when something you make is so well recieved? I know i do! That was a really nice thing that you and your Dh did for this little girl.when we do something nice for someone, the ripples of kindness spread out. The tote is really really cute.
