Those are wonderful. In Lakeland Florida, they have the swans.... large swan figures all over town painted by different artists. They are so beautiful. Ocala Florida has the horses. I think town should have something to showcase their special features.

What a great idea to "decorate" your community.
Those boxes (and the big telephones ones as well) are usually a real eyesore.

Can you tell me more about the printing on vinyl -
Where did you have it done and what type of professional installer did you use?

We contacted a local print shop, they rendered it on the vinyl (like they do cars, etc) and the guy at the print shop installed it. Kind of like contact paper to initally apply it, then the "smashing down" process.. using a tool that kinda looks like a credit card and of course, his fingernail!! Then he hit it with a blow torch and the heat shrink wrapped it and activated the glue that permanently bonds it to the box. Quite a process. sue
