Your projects are fantastic, great imagination for jeans. The vest out of the man's pants is too cute. I really like the jumper and the Christmas stockings!

I'm in the middle of "going green" also. How many selvage edges on your fabric have you thrown away since you've been quilting? I'm making a selvage edge quilt. I have 40 eight inch squares made but I'm not sure how many more I'll need in order to cover a King sized bed. I see there are directions for displaying a picture so when I get a little farther along, I'll give it a try.

Yes, it was paper pieced from a quilting magazine about 3 years ago.

What wonderful ideas! I too have made Christmas stockings from denim. Need to make 4 for the grands this summer or need to quit having GK (not!) Will post when I get them done.
The silk tie quilt is fantastic! How slippery was it to sew on? Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Well, silk is a little slippery, but not to bad. I back all the pieces with a stabilizer.
Thanks for looking at my things.
