Maybe a little yellow -but what does that matter - I can assure you that at my picture is very inferior. The colors are beautiful. He knew I would care for it. He actually gave me two. One needs repairs where piecing threads have broken. I promised I would fix it and return to him. We have several family members that would love the quilts!! He had several --two sun bonnet Sues made by his mother and one other rag quilt as he called it. All are almost perfect. I would have loved them but he gave me the one he liked best. I did tell him I would add a small label with his mothers name and dates so she would not be forgotten by nieces and nephews. He was happy for that!!! I just had to share!!

Thank you so much for giving it a me a name of the pattern! It is definitely a string version and the colors are so beautiful!! The quilt I will be repairing for him is also a string quilt-- 3 strings per block.
