    WOW! I love that! Does your Great-Aunt give lessons? You learn very fast. I could never finish anything that pretty that quickly!

    I'm not sure if she's ever had to teach another quilter before. She did an awesome job, though, and her guidance was the 'push' I needed to get out of my comfort zone of straight piecing.

    I love reverse applique. I did one 25 years ago and framed it. I really like the process and the finished result. Our teacher was a wonderful woman who had most of the nuckles in her hands replaced. I couldn't believe her talent. She was doing life-size knight in armor for a local hotel in the Chicago area. She also had a beautiful piece over her back door window. It really does give the same impression as stain glass. You did a fantastic job. Lucky you to have your aunt to teach you.
