The first picture is a quilt I just finished for a graduation present.

The second one is a quilt I did as a BOM at our LQS. I am donating it to our quilt guild for a raffle. Someone else is going to quilt it. (yaaaay). I like making tops but don't really enjoy quilting them.

Gorgeous. Hope the grad will enjoy his or her quilt, and that the raffle will bring in lots of $$$. Way to go.

I'm sure he will appreciate the quilt - he is a great kid. He has been my daughter's best friend since 4th grade!

Thanks everyone. The blue one is just a Rail Fence so it is really easy, just very small strips. I found the pattern in the book Triangle-Free Quilts by Judy Hopkins. There are some pretty neat patterns and all very easy! As I was putting it together, I thought it was going to be way to busy and wasn't sure that I would like it. But the borders made the difference.
