How beautiful. You not only kicked it up with your additional strips, but I just noticed you pieced each square, that took a lot of time to do that for the effect.

How big is your finished square. I tried to figure it out and decided it must be about 7" finished.

Only you would see mistakes. It such a lovely quilt. The design for the back is a wonderful use of leftovers. Nice quilting too.....I could go on and on...

The center 4 "tropical" patch is 10 inches, 14 inches with the borders.
