Those are great quilts, thanks for sharing. I need to get to more shows!!

LisaT, don't stress about whether you saw something before you designed yours. Yours is a GREAT design! I know exactly how that feels when you think you have a totally original design then see something almost just like it. I did the same with my patriotic quilt. I was waffling about the center design and wasn't sure that what I came up with really looked good together. I did all sorts of searches on "center medallion" and found a patriotic quilt with a center medallion of a vase and flowers. I swear that I never saw that before or anything like it.

I guess there's nothing new under the sun, hey? :P But thanks for the encouraging words.

It's not like it really matters if there is another quilt like mine out there, but it is kinda funny to see it. It's like seeing someone else with your kid or something.

I find that many of the ladies are well above anything I have ever done. So it stretches my thought process when I go and look at the quilts and quilting that is exibited. I wish I could get over to california to the big ones ... Like the long beach show ... or for that matter Sacramento has a big one too. Ours is pretty small, really. But you gals are right, there is a lot of talented women here. Lucky me to get to see them finished.

I hope to become like them when I grow up ... LOL!
