I finished quilting it today. Now to trim, square and add the binding.

This is the back fabric. Yep, some of those seams could have been much straighter but perfection isn't my goal. LOL

I am a convert from spray basting to school glue basting. No over spray. Cheap. I spread a shower curtain liner over my bed when I baste my quilt and just leave it until next day because by the time I've finished basting my back is screaming.

Very pretty quilt. I also iron when I use the glue so I don't have to wait.

Yes plain old elmer's glue

I made the binding and sewed it down on one side tonight.
I think i will stitch in the ditch tomorrow to finish it.
I pinned and ironed it, so it's ready to go.

I sewed down the binding from the front this morning using a decorative stitch.
I am happy how it turned out. I ran out of thread just when i only had about 2 feet left to sew.
I managed to stop and restart without being able to tell unless you were looking for it.
You certainly couldn't see it from a galloping horse. haha
Now just to wash it and see how that goes.

Fresh from the dryer and it looks fine. Glue Basting works great!

I took a permanent fabric pen and wrote in each back corner
with information on the quilt.
