Turning 20 gone awry
#1

I made this quilt for my daughter so I'm naming it "Josie" just as I named her.
I started out cutting my fabric for a Turning 20 pattern. But I miscut and had fabric that was too narrow. I decided to turn my cutting mistake into a unique quilt.
I took the idea of stacked coins and went crazy with it. I made pinwheels from the big 10" squares.
The finished result is a scrappy, patchworky looking quilt that I just adore!
Now, I just need to add borders and decide on backing.
It measures about 60" wide x 75" long. The color is off in the 2nd photo because my hand was partially in front of the flash.
