Turning ugly scrappy blocks into beauties

In my Scrappy club I made these blocks and after multiple cutting of the blocks I just didn't like the outcome. So from lemons I made lemonade and just love how the top came out. I decided to keep it since it goes in my living room so well. All I have to do is decide what quilting design to put in the sashings.

Your quilt is eye catching, certainly not a lemon. Beautiful way to save the 'ugly' scrappy blocks. May in Jersey

Your quilt turned out lovely. I"m a fan of Scrap quilts and really like the outcome. The solid color stars makes it pop.

It doesn't look at all as though you started out with a lemon!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

You did a smashing good job! Doesn't it make you love it that much more, after being such a disappointment in the begining. My previous post of the kaleidoscope UFO # 4 was like that. Your quilt turned out scrap-elicious.

I'm not overly fond of the scrappy look, but this is definitely one I'd keep, too! It turned out very nicely!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

That is a very refreshing "lemonade" quilt ! You made beautiful use of those scrap blocks! The sashings and corners stars were that little bit of sugar the quilt needed.
