Great mini!

....... and what a great class at the Fair.
I hope that as part of the entries, they asked for the stories behind each designs.
That would allow for a lot of understanding for those who see the entries at the Fair.
Plus of course, the significance might influence as to why the winner, should be the winner!

You have put a lot of thought into the design of yours and it looks wonderful.
Good Luck!

Wow. If I was the only one that got my entry in on time I would expect to be the winner no matter how good or bad it was unless there was something in the rules about the number of entries had to be so many!

Your block is lovely and deserves to win something!

The rules say that there will be a first, second, and third winner in each quilt category if the judges determine it to be worthy. The person who entered her quilt on time could have gotten nothing if it wasn't made well.

"The Powers That Be" decided to advertise the new contest on the website somewhere besides the quilt section. Obviously that was a mistake because the quilters couldn't find it. I never did see where they put it. If I hadn't gotten the email, I wouldn't have known about it. The woman in charge of the quilts hopes that "they" will put the announcement in the quilt section next year.
