    yup, the block is called depression, i just made it a little bigger than usual

    Striking. Batiks have a way of taking a pattern and giving it the "wow" factor. You have the "wow" here.

    that's great in black & white; at least you followed the color pattern correctly----! i'm lousy at following directions, i tend to veer left.......
