    "twist and shout" scrappy -

    pieced and quilted by me , donated to Aid to Adoption of Special Needs Children picture taken before binding was done as that is done by others. This pattern was off the web by Lyn Brown. a Very Interesting way to get a quilt on point. Name:  Twist and Shout.JPG

    That setting makes for a much more interesting quilt - yours is lovely with the dark blue!

    PS The quilting is gorgeous!!

    Thank you, It just took me so long to get them to post. I finally figured out that I had to resize the photos to make it work. So now I will not wait so long to post!

    Love it. Did you use 2 1/2" squares or 5" squares. What size was this quilt. Love it and could easily make without a pattern

    I don't know if it came form her site or another. I printed it out and at the top of the one page directions - May Batik Swap Bonus Quilt "Twist and Shout!" at the bottom of the page Lyn Brown.

    The pattern uses 124 - 4 1/2 " squares and 9- 8 1/2" squares

    I agree that's an interesting way to set blocks on point. You should be proud of your efforts to help the Aid to Adoption of Special Needs Children, as that is a wonderful organization. I have a friend who's adorable DGD has special needs but was adopted by her daughter and SIL. I've seen first hand how this precious child has blossomed under their love and care, as she was also abused but what a transformation in such a short time, especially after they adopted her.
