Twister Quilt using Kansas Troubles fabric line

The ruler I used required you to start with 5" squares of fabric. Sew all the 5" squares together in however many rows you want. Then you use the Twister ruler to cut them out to get the pinwheel design. The twister ruler is 3 1/2" square with a finished block size of 3". My quilt, after quilting and washing, ended up being 47" x 60". I used a 14 x 19 block layout, then a 1" stop border of light shirting and then the scraps from the quilt for the last border.

I used a 15 x 20 block layout. You can figure your quilt size by calculating each "finished" block will be 3" square. In other words, your 5" cut fabric block will finish at 3". Hope that makes sense.
