Love your patriotic quilt. Here is a tutorial I did for a Christmas wreath. I will have to try it using all the same fabric.

That is beautiful. I have the ruler and that same fabric. I need to learn how to use mines. Thanks for the inspiration.

Jump in and try it. It is really easy. Even though I had taken a class, I was a bit scared to try it again. The directions with the ruler are really good. If you didn't want to try it on the "good" fabric, you could use 5" scraps and cut those to see if it comes out the way it should.

That is a great tut, but my twister tools is the size of a 10 inch square or larger. So what sizes would you make the blocks?

If you have a large twister, you make 10 inch squares, a lil twister you make 5 inch squares and then there is even a smaller twister, but I'm not sure what size squares you use. My wreath used the 5 inch squares.
