That is so different. Did you make up the pattern? Great Job!

That's a great quilt. I get so inspired from everyone here. I haven't got enough time to try the things I'd like but one day I just might.

Thank you! Yes, I did make up the pattern. I have Adobe Illustrator on my computer, and I used it to draw out the quilt ahead of time and figure out sizes, etc. It's pretty awesome now to look back at that drawing, because the finished product looks just like the sketch. (Except I did a much wider border than I thought I would because I wanted it to be 60x70 inches, a nice lap size for my tall husband.)

I know what you mean!!! I don't want to send mine out to be quilted, so with my limited time, it took 4 months or so to make this quilt, start to finish. I have WAY more ideas than just 2-3 per year!

I made it for my husband, and I plan to write up the pattern to give away on the Fool's Gold website of romance author Susan Mallery, whom I work for. And I machine quilted for the first time, so that was another fun learning experience. I did hearts and swirls around the entire border, which I learned at the free motion quilting project website because someone on here posted the link. (I love the Quilting Board!) So to pass on the link... http://www.freemotionquilting.blogspot.com/

Tomorrow, I'll start cutting fabric for the next one... yup, I'm hooked!

Thank you so much! Last night, I started cutting for my next quilt. I actually have another that's ready for quilting, but I decided I want to make my stepson a quilt for Christmas, so I have to start (and finish) that one before I go back and quilt the one with the finished top.

No changed settings. I think it might've had to do with the bobbin running low.
Jenel, didn't you know that there are tension gremlins that come in the middle of the night and mess everything up on your machine? LOL
