The first quilt is my personal recliner throw. It's 69"x69", a log cabin square, and is true to its itle Manic Phase.
The second is a scrap quilt king size put together for my brother who finally got up the nerve to ask for one. Three people have already said it is too good for him, and if he decides not to pay for it they will gladly purchase it.
Both quilts have been finished off with ties, and are winter weight.

Nice job. I love tied quilts - they are the style my grandmother taught me to make!

Beautiful quilts. Love the zigzag fabric in the first one.

They are very nice! That first one is quite effective. Your brother will love the second one.

And my favorite is the first one. I love the look of the zig zag fabrics and what an awesome effect it makes from further away. Sometimes these secondary effects happen and I enjoyed this one. I think both are great looking.

Tied quilts just feel homier and snugglier.
