You have done a fine job of using scraps. What beautiful quilts. The blue quilt is my favorite of the two, but I really like them both very much. Very nice job. Thanks for sharing your wonderful work.

I love your scrappy quilts, you did a great job. I always have a hard time finding a backing from my scraps to match the front too, always end up at Joann's.

Your quilt tops are beautiful. I'm in the same situation. I have lots of fabric and need to choose patterns to use up some so I can buy more! For backs, I've been taking fat quarts and cutting them in half (into fat eighths) and sewing them into a brick pattern for the backs. I like that it makes the quilts reversible, and uses up some of my smaller pieces of fabric. One recent quilt I cut the pieces into 12x18 because I had larger pieces. I love a pieced back.

Love them both. I just finished a Yellow Brick Road large lap quilt with my scraps, my first actual quilt using scraps from a previous queen sized quilt. Still have more scraps from the first. Think I overbought LOL Have many more scraps cut into 5" squares and 2 1/2" sqs. but need more time to do the rest of the smaller scraps. Then I may actually use them.
