    Both are so vibrant and wonderful. You have awesome scraps! And your string quilt is the ultimate in frugality! I too love the heavy weight of an old wool army blanket for batting when the weather is cold.

    I love scrappy quilts. You did a great job. I especially love the second one but I don't think I would have the patience to do one.

    I don't usually a fan of string quilts but your colours make the pattern quite appealing to me! Beautiful!

    They're just beautiful! I have done one like the first one and used up so many of my scraps. I like the pattern because there are so many ways you can put the blocks together and get a different look. Good job!

    you may not be a photographer, but you definitely are a quilter! That is a wonderful strip quilt and the wedge quilt looks amazing.
