What a lovely GD you have. I love her quilts-especially the first.

What an awesome memory she will have her entire life. She did such a good job on all of them. When I was about her age, I spent a month with my Grandma and we sewed and quilted. I will never forget that. I am trying to make memories with my DGK's, too, so they'll have something to remember their grandma for.

mega kudos to you and your granddaughter...beautiful job!! I hope my DGD will be interested in sewing so we can spend sewing and quilting time together. I get pea-green with envy when I see all you lucky grandma's who have DGDs who shares your love of quilting/sewing!!

quilt camp sound great. Your DG did a wonderful job on her quilts. Was her luggage overweight from taking them all back home?

She did such a great job.. If you think you are going to miss her, I'm sure she is thinking the same thing. There are ways to keep her quilting talents running.. 1) set her up with her own supplies 2) send care packages of fabric 3) shop online together at the fabric stores 4) visit as often as you can when you know she will be free from school obligations. Have grandma quilt camp when she's off from school.
ENJOY

You have given her more than skills. She will remember and cherish this time with you for the rest of her life.
