I'm partial to black backgrounds, however, I'm thinking something like mint green. What do you think? Love the blocks (not really blocks). I have so many scraps, I'll have to do something like that. Happy quilting.

The Dark looks like a winter quilt, where the lt blue reminds me of summer & fluffy clouds. I agree....gotta do 2 of them. I may steal your idea. That looks like a great quilt! OMG... Another reason to go shopping. Is that a Dresden plate, without the points, pattern?

I usually go for the black, but if you want a really antique/old fashioned look, try a very light tone on tone cream/white background with a very tiny print - and as usual, the final choice is what floats YOUR boat.
