Tell him thank you for confirming the fact that it is ugly. I'm glad he's not voting.

Come on Twisted, don't you want to "win" all this "nice" fabric??
Voting for the ugliest is going to be so hard, so many choices....as long as I am a loser, I will be happy. Weird to be wanting to lose.

I think I've finally decided who I'm voting for. It's been a toss up between 2 for a couple of days. If nothing really, really, ugly gets posted within the next hour, I'm ready to vote.

And...no I don't want to win. I can't even get a pretty quilt going, let alone an ugly one.

First let me say that I am so glad I did not enter this contest because I would never be able to combine these fabrics without getting extremely ill. Some of them I really like and some I really hate. Now for my vote...let's narrow it down a bit...

I almost chose fun2quilt's fabric because I don't really know what inspired it. It's just so odd. As a fabric it is pretty ugly and just reminds me of a Batman cartoon during a fight scene. All that's missing is "Bam!", "Splat!" or "Pow!"

Then I almost chose NorBanaquilt's selection which reminds me of a rattlesnake that ate the leopard that ate the potato chips. However my DH says it looks like tropical fish swimming...what does he know?!!

There were some other contenders that came pretty close but I have to say that for me the ugliest one is star's fabric. It gives me the creeps like the kind you get when you go into an old musty basement and find an old forgotten chair whose seat has been long ago covered or reupholstered by a well-meaning but terribly misguided person from the sixties who thought shocking pink, electric green and gold metallic would somehow miraculously make the chair look fashionably modern and then you slap yourself and say, "What the heck was I thinking???"

So...sorry, star...I vote for you!

Whew! Tough competition!
There were 6 uglies on my list
and I got them down to 3...Star,
Norbana and Nancy. Sorry Norbana,
you get my vote with your aptly named
"Jungle Roadkill".
