It's adorable - and certainly not ugly

I like it. I was planning on making the same skirt. I bought Michael Miller Fairy Frost material, the 10 degree ruler, etc. Then my husband decided he liked another pattern better. Thanks for the heads up on the backing. Now I will be prepared for what to do when I make one. I think it turned out great even the ruffle. Most Christmas skirts have ruffles on them and I think it will look great under the tree.

Very pretty skirt, but I have no idea how to help you with the backing. Sorry

Love the tree skirt you made. Not sure but if you line up the lining with the skirt circle not including the ruffle ( that shouldn't be lined) i think it will work, but it will be tight. I also agree it will be easier to cut if you fold top and lining in half
    good luck

I love this skirt. It is very colorful and unique, Definitely something I would be proud to use.
