    after going to the LQS today for their annual 1/2 off sale!!!! :wink: :wink: :wink: :mrgreen: I think I might have spent alittle more than I anticipated but. but. but. The fabric felt so goooood!!!

    This is what 40 yards of fabric looks like... I got 4 extra wide backings... Alot of creams and some browns to make 10 minute blocks for family for xmas.. Easy peasey.. :thumbup:

    After all was said and done it averaged out at alittle less than 5 a yard... Now where to stash it??????lol..

    Less than $5 per yard on that beautiful fabric? I'd say that is totally justified!!! Nice fabric choices. Now go and have fun! :-)

    Lucky you , my LQS never has a sale .. not even a 20 percent sale... ! 50 percent .. I would have been at the door when they opened.

    think she disappeared into all that fabric to play !!!!

    maybe she is taking a nap
    after all shopping for fabric is hard work;
    although I have found it is the easiest way to spend money.

    Oh, you got some really beautiful fabrics!

    DH & I recently took a fall color train ride in a town a couple of hours away from us. He know my favorite quilt shop is there so always makes sure we have time for me to visit it. He even thought ahead & brought along a book to read. I had particular projects in mind to shop for, plus my usual "I just gotta have it" purchases. I have to admit that I spent ALL of my $ that I keep stashed in my wallet for fabric. Oh, it felt wonderful.

    Wonderful bargins. Look at how much you saved!! Always have loved those kind of sales. Does not happen every day, so enjoy. If you "need" to put them away, pack a suitcase... with the fabric!! lol!! I love to "feel" the new fabric and enjoy rubbing it with my hands. And dream of new patterns in a quilt.
