This is wonderful!! We don't have basements in TX. I have a small bedroom, but it is mine!! Working on organizing it.

Yeah for you. That is wonderful. I agree, make what you have - yours. I do have a downstairs studio, and love it. It's that time of year that I need to change something. I get this way every year. I have a frame and am looking to move it into another room downstairs, so I can get more organized. There is paneling in the room and I am looking to paint it very soon. My DH doesn't think I should paint it, but the house was built in the middle 70's and needs an update.

Great "unfinished" space. Does it get too cold to sew down there in the winter? Do you have heat? Also, what is that quilting table...how do you use it?

I too am making Summer at Mom's ! So fun - great scrap ! Although I am making a fat quarter co-ordinating for both of my aunties -- so dear to me ! One is in blues and the other pinks and greens. Love your studio - basement !
