...and the plot thickens as only Eddie knows the answer. Either way, neat old quilt. Great find, Eddie.

Curiosity kills me! I just find it intriguing that a quilt like this was found in rare vintage form. It really is a fine quilt! Otherwise, it is a play on the Spider Web design. Lovely use of scraps, for sure. Eddie needs to clarify construction more.

Thanks for your clarification of the 2 blocks, Rachel. Hopefully, Eddie can solve our mystery on this one! Sassysewer
I agree!! It probably is a combination of the two somehow which is why we are driving ourselves nuts trying to figure it out!! Eddie!! Tell us where the seam lines are so we can solve this mystery!! LOL It is an AWESOME vintage quilt, I would have snatched that up in a heart beat. Very unusual and special. :) :)

I have the same quilt pattern in the works, the triangles are foundation pieces and the black are cut from a template. I don't remember who marked it first the red triangle and blue square but she is correct in the construction. Mine is still in pieces one of my UFO's.

I love the black that this one is framed in, really makes the other fabrics pop.
