    Great find on your vintage quilt, I don't know how you always find these quilts, when I look in antique shops, the price is always real high.

    Definately a spider web quilt. A great find. They were usually made with scraps. eleanor burns has a pattern for this that I did a few years ago. thanks for posting your great find. Denise

    Thanks for ID'ing the pattern, everyone. I guess I can call this my Halloween quilt - Spiderwebs, Black, and Orange, LOL! :D

    What a cool quilt!! This was put together with Triangles and squares, not circles like it looks. The circled red triangle is the base, and the strips are put on either end, then 4 of these triangles are sewn together to make a square (circled in blue), once you put a bunch of these squares together you get that circular pattern. It's a great optical illusion, and is a classic spider web quilt!! it is very stunning and you are lucky to own it.
