UPDATE!! On I Hate This Quilt

Ya'll might remember my previous post about the quilt top I hated. Well, I took it all apart, turned the blocks, added more navy, then a red band because I didn't think the two navy's matched. Well, I really like it now. Now, if our new long arm will get here so my dh can quilt it. Yes, he wants to be the one to do the honors, after he practices a bunch . The first pic is the before and the second is the after thanks for looking Name: image.jpg

Wow, you went to a lot of work to take the first apart, but your results are astonishing. Beautiful. (I have to admit that I like the first one too though....) But, the second really does look better...

I do like the second version better, but I would not have said no to the first, either.

Great job! That is quite an improvement and I wouldn't have said it needed improvement. I like the first one, but LOVE the final!

LOVE your 2nd version. Sorry you had to put all that work into this but I love it now and think it was worth the trouble. It has an all new look doesn't it.

Well done on staying with it and not letting it end up a UFO. A lovely result.

Great save. It is a lot of work to redo something but it saves a lot of money because it is not wasted and it ives a sense of satisfaction to know that you completed a difficult chore-taking it apart. I will be anxious to see how your DH quilts it.
