Used up the left-over dresden plate blades...

All of you interested in making one of these and would like a little help, I used the basic idea shown on the tutorial in this link. Instead of the wedges on the top layer though, I just used a solid piece (with the hole cut in the middle), and then after I turned the layers right side out, I placed the dresden plate on top and quilted it on.

I thought this would be good to bring up this morning as we have been talking about Dresden plate quilts here lately...I think I will make some to do this...

After completing the table runner made out of a charm pack that I posted a few weeks ago, I had enough blades leftover to make this second project...it has insul-brite and batting in it, so it can be used as a table runner, hotpad, or candle-mat. The fabric is from the Crazy 8 line by Sandy Gervais. My sister is getting it for Christmas![ATTACH=CONFIG]296527[/ATTACH]
