    Good job! I just made 2 quilts like that and the other vaiationwith triangles. Fun and fast!

    I just learned about this technique recently and watched the youtube tute of it.

    Picture this .... as they were explaining it, I grabbed a stack or post-it notes and used them to mock up the pattern! Then took it to my sewing machine.

    did the same thing with the One Seam 3-D Flying Geese.

    Gotta love these slick techniques! :)

    The black,red, and white quilt I posted,I didn't like the bump in the middle. I carefully cut that out on the baCk leaving one inch all around the block. It looks so much better and lays flat.

    the rose caught my eye too -
    it would be interesting to see a quilt out of fussy cut flower blocks with just the right background fabric.
    I bet it would be spectacular.

    I just watched the video on this - for the 5 square example, are all 5 squares the same size?

    Yes, except the one that shows the big center square. The rose came out to 9 1/2" and the others are 12 1/2" squares.
