Thread: Very busy and a few firsts!

    Here are some new things I've finished or I'm working on. The one with the stockings is my first attempt at applique. The other Christmas nine patch is my first quilt set on point! I've been afraid of those.

    I love 'em all! I've found that if I don't stretch a little, I get bored. Sure, sometimes it's nice to work on something easy, but you're not going to learn much from always doing the same thing, so keep reaching! Sometimes you succeed, and sometimes you flop, but you ALWAYS learn something!
