I "just" finished this green quilt top. It is for my friend who warned me 2 years ago, when I first started quilting, that she didn't like quilts and not to make her one.

However, she has changed her mind, saying she doesn't like traditional quilts, but she likes my quilts. She selected the puzzle pattern (one I had done before and she liked) and she told me she wanted it all green with some green leaves. I emailed her pictures of the fabric and she okayed it. (She lives in Maryland. I am in Texas.)

She is currently biking in France and won't be home for a week, so I can't send her a picture of it yet. (She turns 65 in two weeks, and I think this just became her birthday present...:) )

So I need your eyes to "check it out." It is very green! At first I didn't like it, but now I do.

Tell me it doesn't look like camouflage!!! (Yeah, I know, it sort of does...but I think she will like it.)

Close up of leaf fabric....she asked that all the other fabric be plain...and I sort of stuck to that!

You were very creative in the way you used the greens. I'm sure she is going to love it, nice job.
