Not at all like camo. And definitely green, but very attractive! And cheerful! She should love it!

If she ok'd the pattern and the fabric, she should like it. It does not look like camo to me...more like an abstract view of green pastures from the sky. Be sure and post after it has been quilted, that should add some hills and valleys. I am liking it! Wouldn't it be pretty draped over a table with a vase of fresh daffodils or red tulips on it! :)

I really like it, I think quilting it will give it extra dimension. Quilting thread in different shades of green could look good. Please let us see it when you are done.

I've never seen that pattern before. It looks like it was fun to do. I love green. I don't think it looks like camo at all. Your friend will love it. And by the way, biking in France! Talk about a lucky lady. First a beautiful quilt made by a friend and then a great trip.

Thanks for your comments. The more I look at it, the greener it gets! The lightest green came off as sort of white in the picture though. The pattern calls for 9 fabrics, and she wanted all green. I have done the pattern in purple once, and then later in blue. I loved those quilts. Green is not my color, and she went for a brighter green than I thought she would...so it is just very green.

I like the idea of it being abstract pastureland from an airplane. I will hold that thought.:)

I love it, but green is my favorite color. And no, it doesn't look like camo. I bet she will love it!
