Great IDEA! I have 2 of those in the attic that were made for my oldest in '77. My great aunt made one and and her daughter made the other. I think it's a great way to be able to make them go another generation.

What a beautiful quilt!

You did a great job on it.

I like the idea of both cross stitch and quilting. The quilt is truly spectacular.

Thanks girls ... I really didn't fuss over the quilting since it is going to the charity shop I support. (American Assistance League) But, it sure deserves to be used after all those hours someone spent on that cross stitch. Oh I paid fifty cents for it back then, I think.
