Yes, there are ingrates in our lives. You did very well to hold your temper........I probably would have not done so well. Glad your quilt had a happy ending!

I am so very glad that your quilt found a happy home. As quilters, we know the hours and hours of hard work, sore backs, pricked fingers, stitching, unpicking, cups of tea.....etc AND to know it is loved makes every minute worth while.

what a darling quilt, what a mannerless jerk, she did not deserve a gift at all. Her mother should hang her head in shame too, she raised her.

Your quilt is so pretty. The lst girl has no idea what she missed out on. So glad you did find a loving home for your quilt. What a happy ending. (Maybe you could get the wedding quilt back from her too.)

I love it!!! It's adorable!! And yes, it was meant to be with this young lady.....I have a friend that would much rather have a hand-crafted gift than some expensive gift...She truly appreciates the craft that goes into making quilts, purses, ect....With the tears, sounds like this young lady does too....Hugzzzz to you both....

That quilt would have looked great with a jungle theme nursery. I love it! It did find a better home to go to. I chuckled about your quilt not matching her nursery theme...wait 'til her nursery is decorated with snot, vomit, and diaper surprises. She has a rude awakening coming up.
