    A Very Simple Tube Quilt

I made my first tube quilt for my son for Christmas who is serving over in Afghanistan. Its getting cold over there and he is staying in a tent without heat or air. This quilt was fast and easy to do. I cut the strips 2 1/2" and ended up with 8 1/2" blocks (if memory serves me right. )
The dark pictures are not true colors. Don't know what happend with those.
    Thanks for looking.

Nice quilt. He'll not only have the warmth of the quilt, but the warmth of your love will be there with him too.

I will be happy to share with you. Go here: http://tutorials.missouriquiltco.com/ Go to View All Videos, scroll down , first video on Tube Tutorial, Intermediate Block Series.
I used 2 different color combinations, in other words, I made a tube with the bright colors and a tube with the other color, and then just alternated them, and wa-la, there it is.
I will be sure to share with my son how everyone has expressed their thanks to him, for serving our country, from my quilting friends here on the quilting board. I want to thank you all for that expression.
